AYDC Professional Learning and Development Series: “Compassion Fatigue, Compassion Satisfaction, and Resilience: Tools to Thrive in Challenging Work” Workshop
Description: Attending to personal wellbeing is just as important as supporting the individuals served. Those working to support safe and healthy youth development are encouraged to be aware of the emotional toll that working with others can have on their own wellbeing. This session provides information and support for youth serving providers who may be experiencing the effects of secondary trauma and resulting compassion fatigue and who can benefit from opportunities to discuss support strategies from both an individual and an organizational perspective.
