Our Anchorage Youth Development Coalition program is committed to building a stronger and more resilient youth community in Anchorage. AYDC’s expert instructors provide research-based, relevant learning opportunities, including professional development for staff at all levels of organizations. We empower our partners to apply best practices in the youth development field, leading to better outcomes for youth.
AYDC Second Order Change offers a unique leadership development and reflective practice setting. Small teams of staff from diverse organizations, including senior leadership staff from each, engage in this opportunity to strengthen the way they apply emotional intelligence in their work.
The AYDC Youth Program Quality initiative engages Anchorage teams of staff in meaningful exploration and continuous quality improvement—building the environments, relationships, and experiences youth need most.
AYDC staff provide an array of training options that can be designed for your organization. From the basics in positive youth development, to 10 Youth Work Methods workshops, and more, we can provide the best supports for your needs. Contact Ciara to schedule the onsite training.
AYDC is pleased to offer the research-based Youth Works Methods workshops to youth-serving organizations, both those currently enrolled in our Youth Program Quality initiative, and other youth programs interested in gaining the skills to improve their program.
