Clothesline Project: Safe Alaskans Offering Helmets, Traffic Garden

Registration: Not required. Drop in anytime.
At this event, we’ll hand out bike helmets and offer helmet fittings so kids ride safer this year. The Center for Safe Alaskans will also set up a scaled-down street, complete with traffic signs, crosswalks, and simulated roadways. Students can practice real pedestrian safety skills in a safe space. Our friends at Anchorage Cops for Community host this event, which also includes a large clothing drive with free clothes for the upcoming school year.
